We are fortunate to have access to an area of woodland which we selectively coppice to manage our own stocks of seasoned hard wood. This is cut to length by ourselves and then split to form our optimum sized pieces which are then dried in our storage area for use twelve months later.

"We believe that having a minimal impact on the environment is vital for future generations. Here are a few approaches we take in doing our part"

Our setup is unique among food stalls. We require no electrical hookup as we are fully self sufficient. The ovens are powered using sustainably sourced wood. We heat hot water for cleaning and washing using the chimney of our oven. The lighting we use is low voltage LED strips that we power using a battery pack. We are proud of the fact that we can operate continuously without access to LPG or electrical supply.

The packaging we choose to use has had no less thought than any other element in our business. We are very aware of the damage that plastic packaging is wreaking on our planets oceans and far off shores. Our plates and bowls are made from waste sugar cane pulp fibres. Our Pizza boxes are made from recycled cardboard and our cutlery is sustainably sourced Birch wood. All of which are 100% biodegradable and compostable.

We have plans for the future to implement thermoelectric generators into our ovens which can convert the exhaust heat into electric to add power to our setup when needed for lighting.
